A 19-year-old Egyptian Canadian girl who is a lover of the beautiful side of the bizarre, and the bizarre side of beauty. Even though almost none of the stuff on my blog are mine, I think they reveal a lot about me.

Things that I like (in no particular order): words, sentences, forests, vintage ghost photography, cats, kittens, dead oak trees, flowers, trying to reclaim the strange and frightening perspectives I had as a kid, writing, my lovely house and lovely neighbourhood in an otherwise pitiful city, monsters, haunted houses, Victorian postcards, bats, jack-o-lanterns, riding in a car in the night with the street lamps lit, skeletons/skulls, surrealism, sleeping, antiques, graveyards, the ocean, the supernatural, drapes, porcelain dolls, Christmas lights, autumn, music boxes, nighttime, diamonds, spider webs, chandeliers, red heart-shaped construction paper, the colour black, water, imagining myself in abandoned libraries, thunderstorms, feminism, laughing, obsessing over the cover art of old horror books, the moon, and things that are too complicated or otherwise too simplistic to put down here.
